HIGH SCHOOL – STUDENT BULLETIN

 

GOOD MORNING TODAY IS “DAY – 8”

 

The annual HS Leadership Retreat will take place on Friday afternoon, Saturday, and Sunday morning, September 9 – 11 at ISB led, once again, by the energetic and experienced facilitators from the JUMP! foundation.   All HS students interested in developing their leadership skills are invited to apply.  Applications are available in the Community Service Office and need to be turned in by Tuesday, 30th August.  A total of 40 students can be accepted.                                     (Tananone)

 

Student Council Spring Elections: Application forms for students interested in running for one of the available class officer positions are now available in front of Mr. Laornual’s room 111.  Please see the list of available positions posted around campus before applying. The Clubs and Activities Handbook is online now on Panther Net. Check out the clubs, initiate a new club, and send in the form for your club’s requirements for the sign up on Sept 1st Club Fair Day.                                                                        (K. Fitzgerald)

 

IASAS DRAMA: There will be a meeting in the Drama room (8-202) during today lunch, 10:30am. Please attend to learn about the possible project for the ISB IASAS Drama. I need your input.                                                  (Hanson)

 

Thai Craft Club: There will be a mandatory orientation for new volunteers interested in helping out at this year’s Thai Craft Sales. The orientation will start at 10:30am in room 313. For those who attend this orientation will be able to help out at the upcoming fair on September 3.            (Eaindra/Fitzgerald)

 

Ed-tech Office can start to set up network access for personal equipment on Monday, 29th August.                                                                     (C. Bates)

SAT registration for course beginNing this Saturday:  Students must register today. Call 02-636-6770 to register.   This is a 7 session course for the October 1 test.  Dates are posted on the HS communication and in the HS counseling office.                                       (Lund)

 

Seniors: Anyone interested in medical school in the UK: Karamveer Narang, a former ISB student, will be on campus during lunch to talk about the process of admissions, the course and the realities of medical school.  Stop by the counseling office if you are interested.                                           (C. Sparrow Home Club Meeting Today in room 8-408 at 10:30am for old and new members to discuss our first visit to Sparrow Home, election of club officers, and the club fair.                                                  (Hebard/Reau)
