Dear Families,
We look forward to celebrating our diversity and different cultures next week! Please remember that on Monday students are welcome to come to school in any clothes that represent their home culture(s) or any cultures they feel connected to! We start the week with an assembly. Then, throughout the week we will “visit” the countries of Malaysia, Singapore, Pakistan, New Zealand and Thailand! For Tuesday-Friday, students are welcome to wear t-shirts from any countries or special places they have visited.
A big thank you to the parents who organized our Loy Kratong celebration last Friday! Students enjoyed learning about this special holiday, and making their own kratongs.
