The Coronavirus pandemic makes the future uncertain, and hope is what keeps us going. The care provided by the front-line workers and the relentless work done by the researchers in finding a solution such as the vaccines have been the pillars of our hope. This is portrayed in the artwork by the use of a syringe, as well as the yellow and blue colour ribbon, which represent hope and dedication, respectively. The twisted wire shows that the road ahead might be a long and complicated one, but by working together in unity, we will have the strength to overcome the pandemic.

hi Jessalyn! The way you managed to go from the topic of Covid to this art piece is astonishing!! I think the range of materials you used in this artwork is so cool. The way you used yellow and blue ribbons that symbolize different things impresses me. Moreover, I love your last sentence of the artwork description. Well said!! One thing I might touch on is the background color. The black slightly dims out the syringes as some parts are black and translucent. Maybe wrapping colored tape on the back of them might help emphasize it a bit more/make sure they don’t get dimmed by the bg color? This piece is amazing!! Stay safe during covid ♡ !!
