Working on a created surface, I wanted to emphasize the raw texture and colors the acrylic background gave. Having to use limited and calculated strokes for the people, this piece pushed my skills and judgement further than before. I purposely used monochromatic materials on top to go againt the vibrant paint. The stark contrast helps depicts the characters deprete resistance to accept their overwhelming emotions.
