With this work, I wanted to reflect on my longing for the past. I purposefully made the main subject of the work, my current self, black and white, contrasting the very loose, colorful subjects (my childhood self) in the background to convey a sense of nostalgia. It can also be seen that some parts of my current self are colored, further implying that the remnants of my childhood will always be a part of my current self.
