About Room 227

Published by Miss B.

Welcome world!  My name is Miss B and I am a Gr.5 teacher at I.S.B (International School Bangkok).  Our Gr.5 class consists of 21 students who love technology and we are keen to use technology to deepen and extend our learning beyond the walls of our classroom.  We are excited to learn about new tools and connecting with others.  We will be communicating with the world what we are learning and fully encourage commenting on our blog. We hope you visit us and share with us often.

Yours in learning,

Miss B. and her wonderful Gr.5 students

We saw your blog is entered in the blog challenge. Our class is trying to connect with students around the world? Are you interested in doing a book club with us? Our blog address is: mrnidey3b.edublogs.org

We have received a comment from Edward- thankyou. Hope you are enjoying the blogging challenge. Isn’t wonderful to learn about what other students are doing across the globe.

    Hi Mrs. B and Class,
I am from the United States and was wondering if you could let me know what life is like in Thailand. I’ve never been outside the country, but love to travel. Good luck with your blog!

    Hi Alice,
Thanks for visiting us 5th graders. In Thailand, this time of year, it rains fairly frequently, mostly in the evening. This is because it’s so hot and humid out! The mosquitoes are present, but are REALLY visible when it is the dry season–December, January mostly. What other kinds of questions do you have for us?

    Hello classroom bloggers!

We are a Grade 5 class from Hong Kong and we’re called the 5E Eagles. We’ve just created a links section on our Grade 5 class blog called “Our Global Community” :)

We’re writing you today because we like your blog(s) and so we’ve added you to our Global Community list. We’ve either found you through Twitter, The EduBlog Challenge or because you’re already a contact of Ms. Cahusac.

Come and check us out or look at some of the other classes which are listed.

Hello Miss B and Room 227,
We are a class of 22 Grade 5 & 6 students from Victoria, Australia, and we have enjoyed having a read of your blogs. We’d like to add your class blog to our blogroll, if that’s OK, and we’d love you to visit our blogs too. If you have any questions about life in Australia, then we’d be happy to answer them. We are certainly interested in learning more about life in Thailand.

    Hello Miss B!
I am in grade 6 and I am in a 6/7 split! Our school is on Vancouver Island BC, Canada. We just started our school year in September. My class has just started to work on our web 2.0 skills and we have just started to learn how to blog. We are looking forward to getting our own blogs and increasing our computer knowlage. We have 28 students in our class and we work on the computers almost every day! We have had our class blog, the Ripple Effect, for at least 2 weeks. How long have you been blogging for?

    Hi Miss B.
I’m in a 6/7 class in British Columbia, Canada. We have 28 students in our class and we too, love technology. We entered the world of blogging in September. We are very excited to learn about new tools and connecting with others, too. We just started working on our web 2.0 skills but a lot of us were already familiar with many different types of technology. When did your students start your school year?
