EXPECTATIONS/PROCEDURES
− All books will be assigned by number. Students will have the option to purchase texts for their own. Books not purchased may not be marked in and, if damaged or lost, replacement charges will be charged.
− Required materials must be brought to each class period. No sharing or leaving the class to
go to lockers.
− Students should be prepared to turn in homework/projects at the beginning of class. Late work: Zero tolerance policy (with pre-arranged exceptions for major assignment and unforeseen circumstances).(English Dept. Policy)
− Students are responsible for contacting the teacher as soon as possible for any missed work and or assignments due to an absence (excused or not). No late work is allowed on unexcused tardies or absences. (Handbook pp.17-18)
− Any student who cheats, copies work or allows others to complete work will be disciplined
according to the student handbook p.53.
− Dress code will be enforced in the classroom. (Handbook pp.25-28)
− Mobile phones / iPods / Palms and similar devices are not allowed to be operated in the classroom. (Handbook pp.22)
