I am definitely sold on an I-Pad! Would it be cheaper and/or faster to purchase the I-Pad in the US? Would Thailand honor the service and guarantee contracts if it is purchased in the US? Thank you for your assistance!

It should be sold in the US starting the end of March. They are expecting a world wide release sometime this summer….probably July. Whether Thailand is on that release list I have not confirmed yet.

Apple’s policy in the past has always been a world wide service plan….one of the few companies that does one so that shouldn’t be an issue. It should be about the same price here in Thailand as in the US. Somethings though in the US you get a discount for being an educator. Worth looking into.
